I can provide a firm estimate for you when I know all the facts. I provide a detailed project proposal to all my clients that outlines the entire project by phases, tasks and responsibilities. There shouldn't be any surprises during your website project - on either side!
I give the same advice to all prospective clients - be realistic of your expectations and educate yourself! Think about securing website services the same way you might approach your home builder, doctor or car mechanic. You might be going in with gritted teeth, but that's because you have some idea up front what these people do and what kind of costs to expect.
